Die / Mold Spotting Presses

Die Spotting Press
Description N/A Unique four corner support design ties top and base into one rigid assembly. This design eliminates guide rod stress due to overhung loads imparted by heavy dies during the swing cycle and appreciably increases the accuracy of mold/die contact. Rack and pinion leveling or motion controls used on larger presses to maintain precision parallelism of the platens.

Advantage of rear swing-out platen allows correction and grinding operations without interfering with similar operations performed simultaneously at the front of the press on the opposite die half.
N/A Savage's Mold Spotting presses are precision guided presses for the off line repair of dies and molds. Eliminates the bottleneck of tying-up your production press. Safety improvement over using cranes and chains with overhead lifting. Available in different types for different budgets. Models and sizes to fit your molds and dies. N/A Savage die spotting presses are available in many configurations to meet your needs and desires.

Illustrating both a basic no frills die spotting press and a die spotter with a shuttle bolster. Both presses have rack and pinion platen leveling or motion controlled leveling to insure parallel contact of dies and molds.
